Say Nice Things About Michelle Obama, or be Investigated

By Douglas V. Gibbs

Michelle "Marie Antoinette" Obama was the target of some not-so-nice comments by a cop in conversations that included discussing "threats against Obama" and for his words, a cop is being investigated.

I remember some pretty messed up things being said about Laura Bush and Dubya during the first decade of the millennium, and I don't remember this kind of concern.

Perhaps Michelle "hoochie-mama" Obama is royalty. Perhaps we are being told that our political speech doesn't fall within our First Amendment right of Free Speech. Perhaps Heir Obama's wife is too worried that such talk could turn into disobedience from the filthy little peasants.

Personally, I think Michelle "Food Nazi" Obama gets more than her fair share, and comments by a cop should be the least of the worries of the investigators. I mean, when you have someone that has elevated themselves to a ruling class when it reality they are supposed to be servants to the people, it's gonna piss off a few people, and things will get said.

It's not like the cop called for her assassination, or anything, or at least it didn't say that he did in the article.

What's next? A sedition act making it unlawful to say anything not-nice about the federal government?

I don't know Doug. The article really said very little. Was the guy foaming at the mouth? Was more said with hate and vitriol? Was it said in a joking manner or was the guy very, very serious. So many questions, so few answers. One thing I do agree with is the commenter at that link that said, "It is amazing in the public law enforcement waits for something to happen when someone is threatened and it is too late but politicians have bodyguards around them all of the time..." - Two sets of rules for 'them' and 'us' doesn't seem quite constitutional.
